Want to work where technology meets FX trading? Join Front Office AM e-Trading and be part of a team that keeps FX trading systems running at peak performance. You'll be embedded on the trading floor working directly with Trading & Sales, Developers, Business Analysts and more. This isn't a typical operations role - you'll build deep expertise in both FX markets and the technology that powers them, becoming the critical bridge between business and IT in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This role offers significant growth potential as you develop skills in trading technology and AI-driven operations.
Nordea is a place where traditions meet tomorrow. We’re not just a bank; we’re a tech employer on a mission to evolve finance securely and responsibly. Together, we impact millions of people’s daily lives by ensuring they can access our solutions anytime, anywhere, while safeguarding their personal data and wealth. Join us in making an impact on the banking industry.
What you’ll be doing:
Work closely with IT and Business teams to solve complex technical and business challenges
Push the boundaries of monitoring capabilities - define, shape and innovate monitoring strategies and tools
Be the 1st point of contact for trading systems, supporting traders and sales teams in real-time
Be responsible for the FX Production environment and oversee all changes
Manage and monitor our electronic FX platforms and systems, acting as the primary line of defence
Lead incident resolution by troubleshooting and resolving issues, coordinating cross-team efforts, and implementing preventive measures
Leverage AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and expand team capabilities
Contribute your own ideas to projects and continuous improvement initiatives
You'll join a diverse multinational organization with passionate and competent colleagues. The role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This role is for you if you:
Want to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same
Stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations and can think clearly when stakes are high
Have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy working with IT systems, tools, and platforms
Excel at collaboration and work effectively with diverse teams across IT and Business, but can also take the lead and work independently
Are proactive, take initiative, and have a strong sense of ownership that extends beyond your direct responsibilities
Embrace uncertainty and approach new challenges with curiosity and creativity
Adapt quickly and embrace continuous learning in an ever-evolving technology landscape
Your experience and background:
Bachelor's or master's degree with relevant work experience
Technical skills in areas such as Linux, SQL, Python - we value IT competency and ability to learn
Strong communication skills and professional-level English
Experience or strong interest in working with AI tools and technologies to solve problems or automate tasks
Banking or financial services experience is an advantage
Knowledge of FX or other financial products is beneficial but not required
We value diverse backgrounds and experiences. If you don't match every requirement but this role excites you, we encourage you to apply - we're interested in your potential and what you can bring to the team.

What we offer
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions - and that we imagine you share with us.
People are driven by many different factors. For some, it’s to take their career to the next level. For others, it’s to break new ground within their area of expertise - in other words, with us, you will always move forward.

Hybrid working model - we believe in the value of bringing people together and at the same time we embrace the freedom of flexibility.
Diversity and inclusion are a natural part of our daily work. We know that an inclusive workplace is a sustainable one. We genuinely believe that our diverse backgrounds, experiences, characteristics and traits make us stronger together. Every day we strive to find new ways to improve diversity and inclusion within our community e.g. we have signed the European Diversity Charters in the countries where we operate to show our commitment and engage with others to continue learning and improving.
We enable dreams and aspirations for a greater good.
We build relationships. We add a personal touch to everything we do - when advising our customers, collaborating with colleagues, and meeting our potential candidates.
We learn and develop. We take pride in being experts and thinking ahead. We use our expertise to meet our customers’ needs, from the simplest to the most complex. We bring a growth mindset to our work that enables us to focus on a broader perspective in our daily challenges.

We are Nordea. We have a 200-year history of supporting and growing the Nordic economies and our values are deeply rooted in these open, progressive and collaborative societies. As one of the biggest employers in the Nordics, Poland and Estonia, you have excellent opportunities to evolve, develop and move forward with us.
Studies show that members of underrepresented communities don’t apply for jobs unless they tick all the qualification boxes. If this is part of why you hesitate to apply, we would like you to reconsider and give it a chance. Maybe your profile fits our needs much better than you think."
