Sparrow Robot Operator

The Opportunity

Join Clobotics as a Sparrow Robot Operator and take part in robotic wind turbine blade repair operations at onshore and offshore locations worldwide. This hands-on role combines robotics, field operations, technical maintenance, and close coordination with wind industry teams.

The position is based in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and efficient Sparrow robotic repair operations on wind turbines in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly with team members, and follow operational checklists diligently.
• Perform regular maintenance checks, calibrations, and equipment troubleshooting to maintain system functionality and minimize downtime.
• Follow Clobotics safety protocols and risk-assessment procedures to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate closely with vessel crews, client technicians, and control-room teams to support clear communication and effective use of working time.
• Maintain accurate records of daily progress and other required operational documentation.
• Keep up with industry best practices and emerging trends, pursuing opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant occupational certificates and training in line with our Occupational Training Matrix, along with any required client- or turbine-specific certifications.
• Clear written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience working offshore on crew transfer vessels or other support vessels, with technical or process equipment, or at onshore or offshore wind park sites is preferred.
• Good physical fitness for physically demanding work, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical competence, and the ability to thrive as part of a team.
