About FLC:
At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
About the department:
FLC’s Facility team plays a central role in supporting all project departments. We handle a wide range of tasks, including cleaning, coffee delivery, gardening, as well as repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment. We have a busy daily routine, but there is also room for a joke or an informal chat. Every Friday, we wrap up the week with a cozy status meeting over a cup of coffee.
The Facility department consists of a dedicated team of permanent staff and trainees, including service assistants, stewards, and facility staff. We work closely across different professional groups, where flexibility is key to solving our daily tasks.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As a Service Assistant, you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, consisting of both regular routines and ad hoc tasks. Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
Overseeing the Canteens
Conducting cleaning inspections
Fruits and hot meals delivery
Light cleaning
Recording and inspecting padlocks.
Inspecting fire doors
Conducting fire and safety checks of locker rooms and office buildings
Ensuring compliance with FLC policies and house rules
Cleaning outdoor areas, including collecting trash and emptying ashtrays
Pantry and water distribution
Last-minute assistance at events and support for other departments
Ad hoc tasks as needed
The role helps maintain a clean, safe and well-organized working environment for everyone on site and in the Village.
What We Expect From You
We’re looking for people who thrive on varied tasks and daily challenges. You have a good sense of overview, can work independently, and take responsibility for your tasks. You’re comfortable with routines, but are also flexible and adaptable when the situation calls for it. There may be periods when things get extra busy, and during those times, you’ll need to be ready to pick up the pace a bit.
We place great importance on you being positive and contributing to a good work environment—preferably with a sense of humor and a smile.
Qualifications:
Training as a service assistant is a plus, but not a requirement—we provide training
Valid driver’s license
Proactive and solution-oriented approach
Working-level English (written English is not a requirement, but an asset)
Flexible and a strong team player
Experience with service work or other facility-related work is an asset, but not a requirement

The position averages 33 hours per week. You’ll be part of a two-shift rotation with day and evening shifts, as well as weekend shifts every other weekend.
Day shift: 3:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Evening shift: 11:30 a.m.–8:15 p.m.
A 30-minute break is at your own expense.
Possibility of lunch agreement and additional health insurance.
Conditions:
FLC considers transparent management structures, short decision-making channels, and a team-oriented environment to be extremely important. The FLC staff is expected to set themselves targets, achieve them independently, and take responsibility for their actions – irrespective of their position in the company.
FLC offers attractive employment conditions on a Danish contract according to The Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven).
