Do you love recycling?

Do you want to work for the climate through recycling, and do you like dogs? We are a dedicated volunteer team that agrees that it should be FUN to volunteer!

We are looking for volunteers who will help us run Denmark's first non-profit secondhand shop for dogs! We aim to make a difference for the planet, by making it convenient and a positive experience to buy secondhand for dogs. We donate all profits to charity.
We are a young, committed volunteer team, and we need YOU, whether you want to tend to our customers in the store or have responsibilities and something on your resume.

ABOUT YOU:

• Have experience with dogs, maybe you have (had) a dog, worked in a shelter, or something alike.
• Can take minimum 2 shifts a month during our opening hours.
• Can participate in our monthly meeting (approx 2 hr).
• Can see yourself volunteering for a minimum of 6 months.
• You have a positive can-do attitude and want to be part of a newly started project.
• Preferably have service experience as a shop assistant, waiter, or similar.
• Living in Denmark/Copenhagen or a nearby area.

TASKS AS A VOLUNTEER:

• Tending to our sweet 2- and 4-legged customers.
• Sorting, washing, and pricing used dog gear.
• Arrange the items so the store looks great.
• Use exactly your skills and abilities. Whether you have the flair for arranging shop windows, are a shark for SoMe, have a graphic flair, or something completely different, we look forward to finding out.

ABOUT US: 2nd PAW is based on 100% volunteer work, we are a small dedicated team who agree that it should be fun to volunteer! You have ample opportunity to have co-responsibility, something on the CV, and influence on your tasks.
If you have something you are passionate about, want to learn something new, or gain practical experience in, for example, fundraising, marketing at SoMe, or event management, you really have the opportunity to move with us.
