Om jobbet

Stillingsbeskrivelsen fra Orifarm A/S

Do you want to play a central role in ensuring that procurement processes run efficiently and on time? Do you thrive in a role with many stakeholders, a fast-paced environment, and a strong sense of teamwork? Then you might be our new Procurement Support Associate within Parallel Import at Orifarm

About the job

You will become part of a strong Procurement team where Purchasers and Procurement Support Associates work closely together to ensure that the right products are purchased at the right time and under the right conditions. You will act as a key link between suppliers and internal stakeholders in an international organization.

You will be an important partner in our daily operations, helping to ensure smooth execution of processes from order placement to payment. At the same time, you will contribute to building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring professional and effective collaboration.

The role combines structure and attention to detail with coordination, problem solving, and continuous follow-up. A significant part of the position revolves around recurring operational processes that follow a monthly cycle. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a role where consistency, accuracy, and timely execution are essential to success.

While many tasks are recurring, no two days are entirely the same. Supplier inquiries, operational challenges, and changing priorities require you to stay flexible and solution-oriented while maintaining a high level of quality.

You will have ownership of your own areas of responsibility and are expected to work independently, take initiative, and ensure that tasks are followed through from start to finish. At the same time, you will be part of a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, and mutual support are key to our success.

Who are you?

You take ownership of your responsibilities and see tasks through to completion. You work in a structured and accurate manner while remaining flexible and able to prioritize when things get busy.

We imagine that you:

  • Have experience from a coordinating or administrative role, preferably within procurement, supply chain, or a similar field
  • Thrive with both recurring operational tasks and assignments that require independent problem solving
  • Enjoy working with recurring operational processes and understand the importance of consistency, compliance, and quality in a highly regulated industry
  • Possess strong collaboration skills and enjoy achieving results together with others
  • Are service-minded and communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a natural focus on quality, accuracy, and follow-up
  • Are comfortable working with IT systems and digital tools
  • Are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken

Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics/Axapta is an advantage but not a requirement.

Who are we?

You will join our Procurement department, consisting of approximately 30 colleagues located across Denmark, Germany, and Croatia. The Procurement Support team plays a central role in our daily operations and works closely with purchasers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. As a Procurement Support Associate, you will be in contact with a broad network of suppliers across Europe and collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the organization.

We are characterized by strong teamwork, an informal atmosphere, and a high degree of helpfulness. We believe the best results are achieved through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mutual support. Our work environment is dynamic, with many different tasks and stakeholders. We support each other in our daily work and come together as a team whenever workloads increase.

Quality, compliance, and patient safety are at the core of everything we do, as we operate in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Our processes are built around clear procedures and standards, and we rely on each team member to execute their responsibilities with accuracy, consistency, and a strong sense of accountability.

Why should you join Orifarm?

At Orifarm, we are united by a shared purpose: improving access to affordable medicine for the people who need it. Founded in Odense in 1994 by Birgitte & Hans Bøgh-Sørensen, we have built our business on challenging conventional thinking to make affordable high-quality pharmaceuticals more accessible across Europe. Rather than developing new medicines, we focus on finding smarter ways to bring existing treatments to patients, creating value for pharmacies, healthcare systems, and society.

We live by the mindset Challenge Accepted. It reflects our explorer spirit and can-do attitude, where challenges are perceived as opportunities. We encourage people to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and take ownership. Across teams, functions, and markets, you will find a collaborative and supportive culture built on trust, respect, and a flat hierarchy where everyone has a voice and direct access to decision-makers.

When you join Orifarm, you will be empowered to make a real impact from day one. We offer autonomy and great opportunities for career advancement, enabling our employees to shape their professional development. We value flexibility and provide a hybrid work model with the possibility of working from home two days a week.

We invite you to join Orifarm, if you are curious, ambitious, and accept the challenge of bringing better deals of medicine to millions.

We encourage everyone to apply

At Orifarm, we welcome people from all backgrounds, recognizing that the best outcomes come from a diverse and inclusive work environment. Our commitment is to create an environment where different perspectives and skills drive innovation and contribute to a sustainable future. By creating such an environment, we are confident that we can achieve better results together.
