Cloud DevOps Engineer

Dexi is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a positive and proactive attitude to join our low-ego, highly collaborative team located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you’ll do

As a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technical know-how, and a desire to go where the data leads, you’ll:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of DevOps practices.
• Design and improve the resilience, scaling, security, and robustness of production infrastructure systems
• Proactively react to outage or service level degradation scenarios
• Continuously improve regular operations by automating procedures and optimizing processes.

• Raise awareness and improve understanding of CI/CD practices in the Engineering departments and across the company
• Effectively gather information and use analytical skills to make data-led decisions
• Balance multiple tasks and priorities
• Deliver high-quality work while meeting business deadlines
• Create innovative ideas to solve problems
• Prioritize customer experience

What you’ll need

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong understanding and knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Experience with designing and building automation
• Experience in IaC and with configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Thorough understanding and experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Experience with:
• Google Cloud (and other cloud providers)
• One or more programming languages (Java preferred)
• Cloud migration
• Monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana)
• Understanding of security hardening, access management practices
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills

• Cloud certifications
