Kitchen Assistant – Restaurant Cooks, Holstebro

Restaurant Cooks in Holstebro is looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our professional kitchen team.

We are looking for a responsible person who enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and can support our chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

Position and Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

* Assisting the chefs with daily food preparation

* Preparing and handling ingredients

* Washing, cutting and preparing vegetables and other food products

* Assisting with the preparation of pizza, grill dishes and other menu items

* Supporting the chefs during busy service periods

* Keeping the kitchen clean, organized and hygienic

* Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas

* Storing food products correctly

* Following Danish food hygiene and food safety requirements

* Helping with stock preparation and organization

* Cooperating with chefs and other restaurant staff

* Performing other relevant kitchen tasks as required

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

* Previous experience from a restaurant or professional kitchen

* Experience as a kitchen assistant or similar position is an advantage

* Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene

* Ability to work independently when required

* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

* Good organizational skills

* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

* Reliable, flexible and motivated attitude

* Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required

Experience with pizza, Italian cuisine or grill cooking is an advantage.

* Working hours: According to the restaurant’s work schedule

* Working hours: Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends when required

* Salary: According to the employment contract and applicable Danish employment conditions
