Mechanic, HGV Mechanic or Welder wanted for varied role in Glostrup

Are you an experienced mechanic or welder who thrives in a varied working environment with a high degree of responsibility? Would you like to work in a small, dynamic team where there is a short path from idea to action? Then you may be the person we are looking for at our workshop in Glostrup.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with solid experience – preferably someone at senior level – who is able to work independently and take responsibility for both planned maintenance and urgent repairs.

About the Position

You will become part of a dedicated and informal team where collaboration and flexibility are key. We offer a varied working day with a high degree of freedom and responsibility, giving you the opportunity to influence and shape your own tasks.

Our fleet is broad and diverse, meaning you will work with many different types of vehicles and equipment. These include refuse collection vehicles, flatbed and hook-lift trucks, crane trucks, construction trailers, construction machinery and other equipment at our site.

Your tasks will range from troubleshooting and repairs to ongoing maintenance and optimisation. No two days are the same, so it is important that you have a practical approach and enjoy finding solutions to both minor and complex challenges. There may occasionally be overtime, particularly when urgent issues arise and need to be resolved quickly.

Your Qualifications

We imagine that you:

• Are a qualified welder, mechanic or HGV mechanic

• Have several years of experience from a similar position

• Ideally have experience maintaining refuse collection vehicles (not a requirement)

• Hold a category B and C driving licence, and preferably CE

• Have knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

• Work in a structured and independent manner

• Are reliable, flexible and responsible

• Take pride in delivering high-quality work and getting the job done properly the first time
