Ski Service Technician

Norefjell Ski Resort is strengthening its ski service team and is looking for a highly skilled ski technician for the winter season.

Our workshops handle both high-volume rental equipment and ski servicing for guests with high quality expectations. We are looking for someone who will be based at Skistua, where the workshop is equipped with a state-of-the-art Wintersteiger Discovery 2 combined with Sigma BSI. This provides excellent opportunities for precise structuring, consistent grinding and efficient production – even during periods of high demand.

Responsibilities:

• Base structuring, flat grinding and edge preparation of alpine skis and snowboards
• Operation and maintenance of Wintersteiger machinery
• Manual finishing and quality control
• Efficient handling of high rental volumes without compromising on quality
• Customer interaction when required, particularly for more advanced service jobs

Qualifications:

• Experience from a ski service workshop
• Good understanding of base structures, edge angles and base preparation
• Experience with Wintersteiger or similar machinery is a clear advantage
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
• Technical interest and a strong sense of ownership of your work
