About the position

Solvexis Consult is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a construction project in Fredericia.

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical and instrumentation activities on site, ensuring that installations are completed safely, correctly and according to the agreed schedule and quality requirements.

The position requires close cooperation with contractors, subcontractors, engineering partners, the commissioning team and the client.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising electrical and instrumentation installation activities on site.

  • Coordinating the daily work of electrical contractors and subcontractors.

  • Participating in project, coordination and progress meetings with the general contractor, subcontractors and client.

  • Monitoring installation progress and identifying delays, technical constraints and supply-chain challenges.

  • Supporting the contract-management process, including progress evaluation, change orders and potential commercial impacts.

  • Providing technical E&I support and working closely with the client’s commissioning team.

  • Inspecting the installation and testing of LV distribution panels, DCS panels, BMS panels, solenoid panels and associated electrical equipment.

  • Ensuring that drawings, documentation and other project deliverables are provided on time.

  • Reviewing installation and testing schedules and reporting issues or risks to the relevant project leads.

  • Coordinating the safe execution of energisation and LOTO activities in accordance with project procedures and required authorizations.

  • Conducting QA walk downs and identifying quality issues, incomplete work and deviations.

  • Coordinating and supporting punch-list close-out before and after mechanical completion.

  • Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with project HSE requirements, quality standards and approved procedures.

  • Maintaining clear progress records and communicating status, risks and required actions to project stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

We expect that you have:

  • A relevant electrical qualification, such as electrician, electrical technician, electrical engineer or equivalent.

  • Proven experience supervising electrical installations on construction or industrial projects.

  • Practical knowledge of LV installations, electrical testing, energisation and LOTO procedures.

  • Experience working with electrical panels and control systems.

  • The ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, specifications and project documentation.

  • Experience with QA inspections, walk downs, punch lists and system handover.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills.

  • A structured and safety-conscious approach to your work.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Experience with DCS and BMS installations, commissioning activities or large multidisciplinary projects will be an advantage.
