Experienced Milker Wanted for a Modern Jersey Dairy Farm in North Jutland

A well-managed dairy farm near Vrå (9760) is looking for an experienced employee for milking and other barn-related tasks. The farm has been operated with great passion and professional expertise for more than 42 years and has built a strong workplace culture where employees support one another, show mutual respect, and share responsibility for the daily work.

The farm is home to approximately 900 Jersey cows and operates with modern facilities and well-established routines that ensure high animal welfare standards and a positive working environment.

About the Position

We are looking for a new team member to strengthen the workforce and help maintain the high standards of daily operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Milking in a modern 60-point rotary milking parlor
• Bedding cubicles
• Washing and cleaning
• General barn duties

Three employees are involved in the milking operation, and tasks are rotated according to a schedule, providing variety throughout the working week.

Working Hours

Milking takes place:

• 03:00 - 08:00
• 15:00 - 19:30

Weekend work is included according to a rotating schedule.

Typically, you will:

• Work both morning and afternoon milking shifts 1-2 times per week
• Work only one shift per day during the remaining weekdays

There is a shared morning coffee break at 08:00, where colleagues meet and coordinate the day's tasks.

• Have experience milking dairy cows
• Speak and understand English
• Have an interest in dairy farming and agriculture

A driver's license is not required.
